Long traffic jams may cause a range of negative emotions such as anxiety and stress. People under traffic stress may also display negative attitudes and behaviours, such as neglecting work and family disputes.

187 drivers were interviewed by online questionnaires. Most drivers generally experience negative emotions in traffic jams. Meanwhile, they generally attach great importance to regulating their emotions in traffic jams and would like to have new ways to effectively relieve them.

EMOTION CAN BE MONITORED BY AI
AI can already work out a driver’s current emotion by tracking and measuring facial expressions and head movements.
TARGET USERS ARE MAINLY COMMUTERS
Due to the severity of the morning and evening rush hour, commuters are often most affected. In general, the negative emotions they expressed were not easily moderated by these relaxation techniques.
COMBINATION OF SENSES CAN BE USED TO RELIEVE EMOTIONS
By using Five Senses Theory, users would have a better experience and improve their engagement when using one product.
POLLUTION INSIDE CARS STUCK IN HEAVY TRAFFIC CAN BE 40% HIGHER THAN WHEN IT'S MOVING.
Cars take in emissions from surrounding vehicles and recirculate them, such as NO2, CO, etc., and heavy traffic always means heavy pollution.

NO LABELLING OF PRODUCTS.
Users should be considered as a “driver who wants to mitigate negative emotions” rather than a “patient with negative emotions”. This also means that the product should not be specialised, but should be a daily object in the car.
CLEAN AIR, CLEAR NEGATIVITY.
A car air purifier is a very daily and necessary product for the general public, and it also corresponds to its design goal of recognising emotional signals and alleviating negative emotions.
FREELY ADJUSTABLE ANGLE
The product can be freely angled to fit the emotion recognition camera. The bottom has an air inlet to ensure work efficiency and is equipped with several non-slip feet.
EMOTIONAL RECOGNITION
The Fri is equipped with a high-definition camera for emotion recognition and the time display function also goes some way to relieving the driver of the discomfort caused by the camera.
SIMPLE OPERATION
The water in the humidification module and the aromatherapy can be replaced by opening the sealed lid, and different types of aromatherapy can be obtained by accumulating “good driving” times.

All three colour themes have been chosen on the basis of colour psychology. In keeping with the stylistic theme of the product itself, all three colours provide a sense of calm and harmony. When seeing green, the brain automatically connects with memories of pleasant experiences related to nature, so it was chosen as the first colour theme.
UI DESIGN
Double touch on the product to automatically open the app, which provides detailed data on mood swings and a variety of relaxation features that can be customised by the user. There are also incentives in the app, uses can earn aromas by accumulating the number of “good drives”.
